Who I am

I am a curious traveler, I laugh a lot, I would be in the water, in the sun, or in the air all day. I am a Gemini cusp Cancer, I have many souls and few certainties. I am a photographer and visual artist, I like human beings, I like to tell stories, I need to remember and leave a trace, that’s why many of my projects are about memory, family and otherwise. I have been working for years as a wedding photographer first as an associate of the Roman studio Reportage di Matrimoni then with my personal studio based in Sicily. I love to do many things, even in my work, I like to experiment and discover new ways of storytelling. I practice and teach yoga, I am able to travel even under the house, I believe in the power of magic and poetry, and I try to incorporate them into my every thought and gesture.

How I work

I work on tiptoe, seeking new points of view, telling authentic emotions and stories. My style is reportage, I love to tell true stories, without intruding or altering the scene. I like to get to know before the big day the couples I photograph, to listen to their story, so I can best tell their most important day. I prefer natural light, and I always try to find creative solutions to create images of value and that will be an important memory for the bride and groom, even years later. I work with digital equipment, but if requested, I am also happy to work in negative film with analog cameras. I follow the wedding from preparations to the party, usually with a second professional photographer so as to best cover the day, have different points of view and deliver a more complete final product.
